Job summary
Australia-Employment is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, program, and deploy PLC-based automation solutions for diverse manufacturing environments in Allentown, PA. You will work with customers, project managers, and engineering teams from concept through commissioning in a hybrid work setting.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial automation, strong Allen-Bradley PLC skills, and experience with HMI/SCADA; familiarity with Siemens/Beckhoff/Omron is a plus, plus robotics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial automation or material handling.
- Strong PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley; experience with Siemens or Beckhoff is a plus.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms and industrial communication networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems.
- Develop and modify HMI/SCADA applications.
- Support system integration, startup, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical support, training, and post-installation assistance.
