Job summary

Easy Automation, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician/Engineer to drive projects from sales order through installation, including PLC/HMI programming and on-site support.

The role includes travel to customer sites and potential remote or hybrid work after training. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical/controls background, a 2- to 4-year degree in a related field, and a positive, adaptable approach with willingness to travel, including to Canada.

Qualifications

• Electrical/controls background as required.
• Bachelor-level equivalent in relevant field.
• Willingness to travel to Canada and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with controls team from sales order to installation.
• Write custom PLC and HMI code.
• Troubleshoot customer problems by phone and after hours as needed.
• Work with development team on innovative control solutions.
• Develop and enhance challenging projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
