Job summary

FMH Conveyors is seeking a Controls Engineer – Electrical in Jonesboro, AR to design and implement power and control systems for conveyors. You will develop electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and 3-D CAD models, collaborating with mechanical engineers and supporting ERP configurators.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 2–4 years of experience, proficiency in Inventor/SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems, plus strong problem-solving and team skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• 2-4 years in engineering design of manufactured equipment or similar.
• Experience reading schematics, designing power/control circuits, and CAD drawings.
• Ability to read technical docs and write reports and procedures.
• Familiarity with NEC/UL/ANSI and lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics for power and controls using 2D/3D CAD.
• Create PLC ladder logic for multiple PLC types.
• Design electrical power/control enclosures and BOMs/MOMs in ERP.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and CAD Designers on products.
• Travel to customer sites for installation/startup and testing.
