Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a mid-level Project Engineer to own controls deliverables on a large-scale data center program. You will manage design, programming, testing, and commissioning, translating mechanical sequences into robust control logic and performing QA/QC checks before commissioning.

We value independent, self-directed professionals with 5–10 years in controls, with Schneider Electric preferred and Rockwell/Siemens backgrounds welcomed for diverse architecture experience.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of controls experience, PLC programming focus.
• Schneider Electric experience preferred (function block diagram); Rockwell/Siemens backgrounds welcome.
• Strong ability to read schematics, network diagrams, and network architectures.
• Independent, self-directed, able to prioritize tasks.
• Backgrounds in energy, oil and gas, data centers, or large-scale control environments translate well.

Responsibilities

• Own tasks and issue resolution across design, programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Translate mechanical Sequences of Operations into control logic.
• Run QA/QC checks on control logic before commissioning.
• Resolve escalated PLC code and graphics problems.
• Standardize PLC changes across the facility to keep updates consistent building-wide.
• Interface directly with the client and drive deliverables with limited day-to-day direction.
