Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Controls Engineer in Brown Deer, WI to lead PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley/Siemens), HMI development, and SCADA optimization on high-speed continuous lines. Direct-hire, 1st shift, with Day 1 benefits and strong autonomy in a growth-oriented team.

The role requires 5+ years in automation controls, 3+ years with Allen‑Bradley and Siemens logic, and deep knowledge of 480V schematics. On-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automation controls within continuous manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years writing/modifying Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI logic.
• 3+ years managing AC/DC drives, VFDs, servo controls, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Experience tracing complex schematics and 480V wiring.
• US work authorization and commuting distance to Brown Deer, WI area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot high-speed electronic control networks and machinery to optimize uptime.
• Perform PLC/HMI optimization in Allen-Bradley Studio 5000/RSLogix and Siemens TIA Portal.
• Enhance SCADA and network systems for real-time data, tracking, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead system upgrades and continuous improvement projects on control architectures.
• Support capital installs with wiring, network integration, and machine positioning.
• Interpret schematics and topology diagrams up to 480V to resolve issues.
