Job summary

International Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support the S13 Diesel Engine Assembly Line on 2nd shift. You will work with engineers, maintenance and production staff to develop and implement controls systems and power distribution.

The 4x10 schedule runs Mon-Thurs, 7:30 PM–6:00 AM, with potential Friday/Saturday coverage. Candidates should have strong PLC/SCADA, robotics, and MES experience to improve uptime and ensure production goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1+ year manufacturing experience or equivalent
Master's degree with no experience qualifies
At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience will also be considered

Responsibilities

Provide cross-functional troubleshooting support to S13 Diesel Engine Assembly line during 2nd shift.
Establish programs and solutions for increasing up-time and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
Oversee the development, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Study equipment performance and reliability.
Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
