Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role based near Tarrytown, NY. You will lead design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control systems across Life Sciences and other industries, developing schedules, budgets, and coordinating with project leadership.

You will act as an automation Subject Matter Expert, troubleshoot complex systems, and help start-up and commissioning at client sites while collaborating with a diverse team and

Qualifications

• Experience executing automation projects in process industry (3–5 years).
• BS Engineering or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISA S88, S95, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and data historian setup.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control applications.
• Develop project schedules and budgets; manage change orders with Project Management.
• Provide solutions to customers with strong technical advisory.
• Travel as needed for design, development, start-up at client facilities.
• Serve as automation Subject Matter Expert and team ambassador.
