Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design, configure, and test automation and control solutions for life sciences and other industries. You will work independently on project tasks and collaborate with a diverse team to deliver complex automation challenges.

Responsibilities include leading design and testing of control applications, managing project scope and budgets, and providing expert guidance to clients and team members. Hybrid work with local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of automation experience in process plants.
• BS Engineering or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of industry/regulatory standards (ISA S88/S95, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Experience with control system architectures and networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
• Hands-on in installation, commissioning, and start-up of automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control apps.
• Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules with Project Management.
• Provide technical advisement to clients and project teams.
• Travel locally for site work as needed; support startup at client facilities.
