Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design, implement and commission process automation solutions for client facilities. The role covers concept through startup, with emphasis on PLC, HMI and SCADA applications across batch and continuous processes.

You will lead project teams, develop schedules and budgets, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected, supporting equipment installation and start-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of automation project experience in process plants (CPG/Life Sciences/F&B/Chemical).
• Experience with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of control system networks (Ethernet/DeviceNet/ControlNet).
• Ability to program, troubleshoot and startup control systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design, configuration and testing of control applications.
• Develop schedules and budgets with project leadership; manage changes.
• Provide expert technical advisement to clients and project teams.
• Travel to client sites as needed for start-up and commissioning.
• Support installation, startup and qualification activities.
