Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in management.
• Strong US GAAP, SEC reporting, and public company accounting background.
• Cannabis, manufacturing, and consumer packaged goods experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements under US GAAP.
• Maintain accuracy of general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Oversee external audit processes.
• Supervise accounting team (AP, payroll, GL, revenue recog., fixed assets).
• Lead inventory cost accounting and ERP implementation.
• Establish robust internal controls over financial reporting (SOX readiness).
• Manage month-end and year-end close.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and processes to improve efficiency.
