Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA required.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting or controller experience.
• Experience in real estate, lending, or investment management preferred.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Experience with cash flow, AP/AR, and banking relationships.
• Ability to train and manage staff and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and create QuickBooks files for new real estate deals.
• Manage quarterly investor distributions and waterfall distributions.
• Account for Construction-in-Process projects and cash flow.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable and trackers.
• Collect funds and investor contributions for new syndications.
• Maintain QuickBooks for the lending company and reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue 1099-INT forms for external partners.
• Prepare monthly lending reports and distribute interest payments.
• Coordinate with CPA to file tax returns for TrueStone entities.
• Train and manage staff; oversee AR/AP for TrueStone LLC.
