Job summary

ACRUVA Capital Partners, a Deerfield Beach, Florida-based real estate investment and development firm, seeks a Controller to manage the accuracy and timeliness of financial records for its portfolio of LIHTC and other affordable housing projects. You will lead monthly closes, construction draws, cash management, and reporting to lenders and equity investors.

The role collaborates with the President, Senior VP of Development, and external auditors, supervising staff and coordinating with ADC

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA license preferred or active candidacy.
Public accounting experience with real estate or LIHTC is advantageous.
Experience with multi-entity accounting and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger and monthly, quarterly, and annual close for multiple project entities.
Prepare GAAP-based financial statements and ensure intercompany eliminations.
Manage LIHTC investor accounting, capital accounts, and distributions.
Coordinate cost certifications, placed-in-service, and audits with CPA firm.
Prepare investor reporting packages and ensure lender covenant compliance.
