Job summary

SPS North America Inc. in New York seeks a Senior Controller to drive best-in-class financial and commercial controllership across the organization.

This role provides financial transparency into customer contract profitability, strengthens forecasting and management reporting processes, and identifies opportunities to improve financial performance and reduce profitability leakage. The Senior Controller will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, Solution Design, Sales, and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Admin or related field.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is a plus.
• 10+ years in finance, financial controlling, billing, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience managing contract profitability and P&L analysis.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and standardization.
• ERP knowledge; SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience developing financial reporting, dashboards, and tools.
• Strong accounting and financial management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a best-in-class commercial and financial controllership organization.
• Lead monthly P&L and contract forecasting processes.
• Provide transparency into customer contract profitability and trends.
• Analyze variances, identify root causes, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify and address contract profitability leakage and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Sales, and other stakeholders.
• Provide financial guidance during contract development, renewal, and modification.
• Develop standardized financial controlling processes, tools, and reporting.
• Serve as SME for global management reporting blueprint and standards.
• Evaluate processes for automation and efficiency; develop dashboards.
• Maintain knowledge of AR/AP, GL, payroll, and related processes.
• Improve controls, data quality, and cross-functional performance.
