Job summary

A Quality Facility Services in Canton, OH seeks aController/Senior Bookkeeper to own the company’s day-to-day accounting, oversee full-cycle processes, and lead month-end close. You will partner with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and strategic planning, while maintaining a hands-on, proactive approach.

The role requires strong Excel skills, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong full-cycle accounting experience
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication skills
• Public accounting or CPA firm experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the company's day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process
• Support cash management, budgeting, and financial planning
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiency
• Provide accurate financial information and insight to leadership
• Take ownership of accounting projects and initiatives
