Job summary

CAZA CAMP LLC is seeking a Controller to serve as the senior accounting leader across multiple locations in TX. You will oversee daily accounting operations, drive GAAP reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while building a high‑performing team.

The role requires hands‑on management, process improvement, and collaboration with senior leadership to support strategic decisions and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or team‑lead responsibilities.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and completing month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced, growing organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to nonfinancial leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, and payroll‑related accounting.
• Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections, and other financial plans in collaboration with department leaders and senior management.
• Analyze financial results, trends, and variances and provide clear, actionable insights to leadership.
