Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) seeks a hands-on Controller in Irvine, CA to lead the accounting function for a growing, multi-entity organization. You will own monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, SOX readiness, and ERP optimization while partnering with executives to scale processes for sustainable growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Leadership experience in large, complex or rapidly growing firms.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls.
• Experience with SOX-controlled or public-company environments.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Exposure to international accounting and foreign currency matters.
• ERP and accounting systems experience, with NetSuite preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams.
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional partnering.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely reporting.
• Oversee general ledger and key corporate accounting functions.
• Prepare and review financial statements including cash flow and equity reporting.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support multi-entity and international accounting activities, including intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships.
• Drive SOX readiness, control documentation and remediation efforts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline close processes and reduce manual work.
• Partner with finance, legal, HR, IT, and operations on accounting initiatives.
• Optimize ERP workflows, integrations, and reporting tools.
• Develop accounting KPIs and governance reporting for leadership visibility.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
