Job summary

Tide Rock is seeking a Controller to serve as the senior accounting executive for Tide Rock Holdings and its affiliated investment entities. The Controller will own the accounting function across the Tide Rock platform and will be responsible for the accuracy, integrity, timeliness, and scalability of its financial reporting, accounting operations, and control environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Active CPA license strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience leading accounting in a multi-entity organization.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead all accounting activities for Tide Rock Holdings and its affiliated entities.
Serve as principal authority on technical accounting matters, including US GAAP interpretation and consolidation.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate reporting.
Consolidate portfolio company results into Tide Rock financial statements.
Establish and improve accounting policies, controls, and close procedures.
Coordinate external audits, tax reporting, and valuation support.
Oversee fund and entity accounting, including capital activity and investor reporting.
Develop calendars, packages, and KPIs for executive reporting.
