Zusammenfassung

Tide Homes is a luxury custom home builder seeking a Controller to own the accounting function from the general ledger to financial statements. Reporting to the Director of Finance and partnering with Solé shared services, you’ll lead the accounting team and ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and trusted.

You’ll oversee month-end close, job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, internal controls, audits, and treasury. CPA preferred with 8+ years’ construction accounting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or closely related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience in construction or luxury home building.
• 3+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or accounting management role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing staff; excellent communicator.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct and advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus.

• Month-End Close and Financial Reporting: own close cycles and prepare financial statements.
• Job Costing, WIP, and Revenue Recognition: manage job profitability and ASC 606.
• Team Leadership and Development: coach accounting team and set priorities.
• Internal Controls and Compliance: design controls and supervise tax and regulatory filings.
• Audit, Tax, and Lender Support: primary contact for audits and construction loans.
• Cash Management and Treasury: oversee cash forecasting and reconciliations.
• Systems and Process Improvement: own Quick Books? actually QuickBooks; streamline processes.
• Budgeting and Analysis Support: support annual budgets and variance analysis.
