Job summary

Century Group is partnering with a client seeking a Controller to join their team in Denver, CO. The role offers a direct-hire path with a starting base salary of $160,000 to $180,000 per year.

You will lead accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, GL activities, and month-end close, while partnering with operations and supply chain to improve financial performance. CPA preferred and ERP systems experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA designation and strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Leadership experience within accounting, controllership, or public accounting environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial management software.
• Experience with financial statement preparation, audits, internal controls, and business reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations by overseeing financial reporting, general ledger activities, and month end close processes.
• Manage customer billing activities and monitor revenue related transactions to ensure accurate financial records.
• Analyze costs, profitability, inventory activity, and operational performance to support business decision making.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and other departments to improve financial performance and reporting accuracy.
• Develop accounting procedures, internal controls, and process improvements that strengthen efficiency and compliance.
