Job summary

Medacta USA in Franklin, TN seeks an experienced accounting leader to maintain internal control activities and support the Sr. Finance Director in managing the general ledger.

You will supervise the accounting team, ensure reconciliations, and liaise with external auditors to secure clean financials. Cost accounting in a manufacturing setting and leadership experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience in a full accounting environment; public company experience preferred.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience highly preferred; leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all routine accounting transactions impacting the general ledger.
• Ensure timely, documented internal control activities for Medacta USA.
• Serve as liaison to external auditors and provide required documents.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and sub-ledger integrity.
• Provide cash forecasting and liquidity submissions; monitor budgets and variances.
• Support manufacturing accounting activities: inventory, costing, BOMs, labor rates.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and financial reports; assist annual budgeting.
• Train staff on accounting systems and procedures.
