Job summary

CTech Manufacturing in Weston, Wisconsin, is seeking a Senior Accountant / Controller to lead financial operations and strengthen internal controls while remaining hands-on with day-to-day accounting.

The role may be titled Senior Accountant or Controller based on experience, reporting to executive leadership and partnering with Operations, Purchasing, HR, Engineering, and Production to improve profitability and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong manufacturing cost accounting and inventory costing.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.
• Monitor departmental spending and financial performance.
• Assist leadership with profitability analysis and strategic planning.
• Support cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Coordinate annual audits and assist with tax preparation.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to accounting staff.
