Job summary

TrustPoint is building the world’s first commercial GPS system in space and seeks a seasoned Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for our growing government and commercial business. You will partner with the CEO and COO to build scalable systems, ensure audit-ready books, and guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience building and owning financial controls in a scaling company.
• Working knowledge of government contract cost accounting and FAR Part 31 principles.
• Familiarity with DCAA expectations and audit readiness.
• Ability to design systems and controls for growth, not just bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow forecasting.
• Oversee procurement systems, bid processes, and government acquisition compliance.
• Lead contract financial management including budgeting, revenue recognition, and closeouts.
• Develop financial models and reporting for pricing, hiring, and bids for both commercial and government revenue streams.
• Implement internal controls and systems selection to support scale and audits.
