Job summary

CEC Entertainment, LLC in Irving, Texas, seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations across the United States and Canada. You will manage a 20+ person team, oversee G/L close, payroll, A/P and A/R, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and cross-border standards.

Expertise in ASC 842 lease accounting and membership-based revenue is required. You will partner with the CFO to drive internal controls, policy development, audits, and continuous process improvements across

Qualifications

• Active CPA in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience leading accounting operations across multiple locations.
• Expertise in real estate lease accounting (ASC 842) or IFRS 16 and revenue recognition for membership-based models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 20+ accountants, payroll and AP staff.
• Oversee general ledger close, month-end, quarter-end and year-end close; consolidate financial statements.
• Manage payroll, AP and AR with strong internal controls and compliance.
• Oversee real estate lease accounting (ASC 842/IFRS 16) and related disclosures.
• Ensure US GAAP and cross-border Canadian standards compliance; multi-currency considerations.
• Partner with CFO to maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures; coordinate audits.
