Job summary

Reflection is seeking an experienced Controller to build and own the accounting function from the ground up in a high-growth tech environment. You’ll manage close, technical accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls while navigating complex contract structures and equity accounting.

Responsibilities include tax strategy, external audits, and team-building; you’ll report to the VP of Finance and collaborate with legal and finance on entity structure and transfer pricing.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years finance and accounting experience.
• CPA certified; Big 4 background preferred.
• Deep technical accounting knowledge with solid judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead technical accounting determinations on revenue, leases, equity.
• Own global tax planning, compliance, and strategy across entities.
• Manage external audit timelines and deliverables end-to-end.
• Build robust internal controls and financial reporting infrastructure.
• Partner on entity structure and transfer pricing with legal and finance.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and treasury operations.
• Build and lead the accounting and tax teams.
