Job summary

GAMA is seeking a Controller to lead a four-to-five person accounting team in Austin, Texas. You will work closely with CCO and CSCO, reporting to the Board, to drive financial reporting, inventory control, and cash management across multiple warehouses and distribution channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience managing an accounting function in a distribution/wholesale environment.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with SAP and integrated ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and overall accounting function.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and schedules.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and policy adherence.
• Establish controls, policies, and procedures.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reserves.
• Analyze results and explain variances to budget/forecast.
• Develop financial reports for senior leadership and Board.
