Job summary

Maverick RF Solutions seeks a Controller to lead accounting and financial operations in Louisville, CO, ensuring GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and cash management for government-contract programs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on controllership in a fast-paced startup and deep GAAP knowledge with ERP experience; FAR/DFARS familiarity is a plus. You will drive budgets, audits, and strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Prior experience in a controller or senior accounting role
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations: AP/AR, payroll, GL, bank reconciliations per GAAP
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and reports
• Develop and maintain annual budget, forecasts, and cash-flow projections
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures
• Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting with department heads
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators
• Analyze financial data for trends, variances, cost savings, improvements
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
