Job summary

Akido Labs, Inc. is building a nationwide AI-native healthcare network and seeks a seasoned Controller to lead centralized accounting across multiple entities. You will consolidate varied revenue models, align operational and financial reporting, and drive ERP upgrades while mentoring a growing accounting team.

The role reports to the CFO and will own the books across 2–3x the current entity footprint, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and improving month-end close timelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in a healthcare services organization.
• Direct experience in a roll-up or multi-entity environment.
• Deep familiarity with healthcare revenue models such as FFS, capitation, PMPM.
• Proven track record improving close timelines and upgrading accounting infrastructure.
• Experience implementing modern ERP systems and scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of acquired healthcare service businesses into unified accounting structure.
• Manage first financial audit in 2026, including readiness and controls.
• Design a scalable multi-entity consolidation and reporting model across states.
• Transition to accrual accounting where appropriate across entities and revenue streams.
• Own accounting systems architecture (ERP, subledgers, payroll, T&E, banking, billing).
• Build and mentor a team of ~10 across dispersed locations.
