Job summary

Parkson Corporation is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the Accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage the monthly close. This senior role partners with the CFO and operating leaders to drive profitability and financial discipline across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting/finance, 5+ years in leadership, solid U.S. GAAP knowledge, ERP expertise, and a track record of building strong teams. This is a full-time onsite role in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• MBA preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience with financial close, reporting, general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
• Manufacturing, cost, and inventory accounting.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and external audits.
• Strong ERP knowledge; manufacturing ERP experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
• Lead external audits and financial reviews and coordinate required supporting documentation.
• Serve as a key liaison with the parent company’s Finance team, coordinating reporting and information requests.
• Lead and develop the Accounting team with clear accountability and performance expectations.
• Partner with business leaders to understand operational performance and improve profitability.
• Drive controls, governance, and financial discipline across the organization.
