Job summary

COPE Health Solutions in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Controller to lead the Accounting function for CHS and ARC, ensuring timely, accurate financial close and GAAP compliance. The Controller will supervise the Accounting team and collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting and decision-making.

The role requires 5–10 years in finance/accounting, CPA, and extensive Excel/Sage Intacct experience. This is a full-time hybrid position based in LA and reports to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required and CPA certification is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a professional services setting.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; able to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and supervision of the Finance and Accounting department.
• Ensure timely monthly close and analytical review of operating results.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
• Serve as subject matter expert on revenue recognition, development costs, reserves and equity matters.
