Job summary

A growing energy infrastructure company is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting in a multi-entity environment. The successful candidate will manage the accounting team, oversee the close processes, strengthen internal controls, and support financial planning initiatives. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, progressive experience in accounting, and strong GAAP knowledge. This role offers the opportunity to build a team and improve accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or asset-heavy industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing audits and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations including AP, AR, and cash management.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Build and develop the accounting team.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Improve accounting processes and operational reporting.
