Job summary

ASM Tech Solutions in Mustang Ridge, TX, is seeking a hands-on Controller to own day-to-day accounting, month-end close, client billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a growing operation.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, accrual accounting, and strong Excel skills, with the ability to coordinate with leadership and external advisors. This is an on-site role in Central Texas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting.
• Experience with AP/AR and financial statements.
• Excellent Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
• On-site work in Mustang Ridge, TX.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and accruals.
• Own monthly close calendar and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review client invoices in QBO and settlements.
• Manage vendor invoices, payroll inputs, and payroll reconciliations.
• Reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold with operations.
• Coordinate with external advisors on tax and complex matters.
• Drive invoicing validation and automation in QBO.
