Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 7–10 years accounting experience; 3–5 years in construction or trade-contractor role with job-cost knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage accounting teams and communicate financial data to non-financial leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial statements.
• Oversee multi-branch inventory and tool tracking across job locations and warehouses.
• Manage corporate service fleet finances, depreciation, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Track labor, material, and equipment costs for active projects and analyze gross margins.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, DOT, prevailing wage, and tax regulations; manage insurance and contractor agreements.
• Monitor cash flow, bonding, relationships with banks and external auditors.
• Partner with executive management to budget, forecast revenue, and evaluate profitability by branch or project type.
