Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Controller for a commercial construction environment in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead the accounting team, manage ERP operations, and ensure accurate monthly closes and financial reporting.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in commercial construction accounting, strong ERP skills, and expertise in job costing and WIP reporting. Vista by Viewpoint is a plus; CPA preferred. This is an on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5+ years of commercial construction accounting management experience.
Strong ERP experience and ownership of month-end close processes.
Experience with job costing and WIP reporting.
Vista by Viewpoint experience preferred.
CPA certification preferred.
Prior Controller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Reconcile bank accounts monthly and ensure accuracy of GL analyses.
Manage and mentor accounting team; oversee ERP system usage and financial procedures.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and annual budgets.
Oversee job costing, A/R/ A/P processes, and revenue recognition.
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
