Job summary

Pacific Fusion Corporation in San Leandro, CA, is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations as the company scales its fusion technology demonstration program.

Responsibilities include monthly closes, financial reporting, and building scalable processes. The role leads a team of six accounting personnel and reports to senior leadership with equity and comprehensive compensation.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience owning the end-to-end month-end close process for a hardware company.
• Experience creating new operational processes and ensuring continued improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute a monthly close process including producing monthly financial statements.
• Oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounts payable, payroll and accounts receivable.
• Produce quarterly financial reporting including plan to actuals and associated analysis.
• Work across the finance team to update the corporate forecast each quarter.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as requested to support leadership initiatives.
• Drive efficiency across financial operations processes.
• Develop and support a team of six accounting personnel.
