The Reading Group (TRG) seeks an experienced Sr. Controller to direct financial operations from Cincinnati, OH. This on-site role reports to Ownership and leads the accounting team, driving liquidity, budgeting, and controls across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in senior financial leadership, deep GAAP knowledge, and strong stakeholder management, with hands-on cash forecasting and real estate/retail finance exposure. Competitive benefits provided.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in small-to-midsized businesses.
• Experience in multi-entity environments (Retail, Wholesale, Distribution, or CRE preferred).
• Proficient in cash flow modeling, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Direct financial operations and serve as the executive bridge between financial management and operational execution.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and PO controls.
• Collaborate with Ownership and external CPA partners for bank, treasury, and tax filings.
• Lead and mentor the Controller to ensure GAAP compliance and timely monthly closes.
• Improve shared service workflows and drive efficiency across entities.
