We are hiring our first Controller to own accounting, tax, and finance operations at Basic Capital. This individual will manage proprietary investments on our platform that are held through individual LLCs, specifically the annual accounting and tax requirements.
You will own accounting and tax for this portfolio: books, reconciliations, annual partnership filings, and the monthly reporting we send to lenders and capital partners. You will also support the company's own finances, from monthly close and budgeting to AP, AR, and payments.
This is a builder role. You will set up the processes, controls, and automation that let this work scale from thousands of entities to tens of thousands, working directly with our engineering and capital markets teams.
