Job summary

Global Chemicals Company seeks a Control Systems Lead to provide strategic leadership for instrumentation, DCS, SIS, and process controls across three plants, aligning safety, reliability, and continuous improvement with site priorities.

You will build a high-performing team, manage budgets and resources, oversee major outages and capital projects, and ensure governance of technical standards, documentation, and risk management across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years experience in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Instrumentation/Control Systems Engineering (DCS) preferred.
• 5+ years proven leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with DCS, SIS, and plant control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for instrumentation, DCS, SIS, and plant control systems.
• Oversee lifecycle management, risk assessment, and MOC compliance.
• Lead outages, turnarounds, and capital projects across three plants.
• Develop team capability, recruitment, succession planning, and performance management.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Projects and site leadership.
• Ensure documentation, drawings, and standards are maintained.
