Job summary

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Senior Engineer, Control Systems to lead process and vehicle control system changes across MTMUS and suppliers. You will guide IPM, ECN, and production-volume changes while developing staff and ensuring QCD targets are met.

You will collaborate with MTMUS, Mazda Corporate in Japan, and contractors, coordinating trials, trainings, and documentation to sustain improvements in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production engineering or maintenance in automotive OEM or related industry.
• BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent mix of education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead process control system development to maintain QCD standards for Mazda models.
• Coordinate vehicle control system planning with MTMUS, MTMUS suppliers, and internal teams.
• Develop, implement and update training materials for engineers.
• Manage trials and inspections, ensuring changes meet quality and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed trial plans and readiness reports for management.
