Job summary

Mazda Motor Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineer, Control Systems in Huntsville to lead advanced process control system changes across MTMUS, MTMUS suppliers, and Mazda Corporate. You will drive IPM/ECN-based production changes and mentor engineers while ensuring QCD targets are met.

The role requires 5+ years in production engineering, strong communication, and ability to collaborate across multiple sites. Travel to MTMUS facilities is involved.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production engineering or maintenance in automotive OEM or related industry.
• Bachelor of Science preferred in engineering.
• Equivalent mix of education, training, and/or work experience may be considered.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of Process Control System and Production Instruction System to uphold QCD goals for Mazda models.
• Oversee Process Control System changes, reporting progress and securing stakeholder alignment.
• Plan and coordinate Vehicle Control System (VCS) changes, trials, and final handover to MTMUS.
• Support training of other engineers and maintain up-to-date training materials.
• Ensure changes comply with IPM, ECN, and production-volume adjustments.
