Job summary

HDR, Inc.’s Northern California Controls practice seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead complex OT and automation projects from client engagement and proposal development through detailed design, implementation, commissioning and closeout.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, develop P&IDs and network architectures, and provide technical leadership on SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS and cybersecurity initiatives for data centers, water utilities, and industrial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience leading engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead development of SCADA, industrial control systems, instrumentation, networking, automation, and OT solutions.
Serve as technical lead or Engineer of Record for studies and design documents.
Oversee development of P&IDs, network architectures, control narratives, and wiring diagrams.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design, implementation, startup, and commissioning.
