The role requires deep system design expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of mentoring engineers. Travel up to 50% and direct-hire, full-time employment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of total experience required.
• 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and design complex control systems, I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing docs.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive team and project performance.
• Support business development through technical proposals and presentations.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery with project managers.
• Adhere to client standards and quality via the QMS and best practices.
• Communicate proactively with customers and maintain professional relationships.
• Identify scope changes and new business opportunities and manage risks.
