Zachary Piper Solutions in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Control Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain automation and control systems supporting electric utility and grid modernization initiatives. This is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, MD, involving SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, PLCs, RTUs, and utility automation technologies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Automation Engineering with 5+ years in the electric utilities sector (Master’s with 3+ years

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering with 5+ years in electric utilities; Master’s degree with 3+ years acceptable.
5+ years hands-on experience in electric utilities, real-time grid management environments.
Experience with SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, industrial automation, or utility control systems.
Proficient in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and protocols like DNP3 and Modbus.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and review automation and control system solutions including SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs.
Lead programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning for automation/SCADA applications.
Support field startup, deployment, and upgrades; perform QA/QC reviews and documentation.
