Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Sr Contracts Specialist in Birmingham, AL, onsite. This role supports daily sourcing and contracting activities, guiding RFI/RFP processes through contract closeout and advising customers on proposals while handling a high volume of projects.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contract language, strong contract law knowledge, and proven negotiation and drafting skills to mitigate risk and ensure compliance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Formal education or experience in contract language preferred.
• Experience in procurement or contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFI and RFP processes to contract closeout.
• Manage a high volume of contract-related documents.
• Negotiate legal and commercial terms to mitigate risk.
• Ensure procurement documents include required terms and conditions.
• Build knowledge of legal provisions and dispute resolution.
• Draft contract language, including complex, non-standard purchases.
• Identify and evaluate new sources of supply.
• Coordinate supplier information and compliance documentation.
• Resolve conflicts during contract performance and negotiate revisions.
• Serve as SME on procurement policies and procedures.
