Job summary

RTX Goleta is seeking a Principal Contracts Specialist to manage contracts across the full lifecycle, collaborating with Program Managers, Engineering, Legal and Finance.

You will develop responses to RFPs/BAAs, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and DoD security requirements. This onsite role requires active Secret clearance and strong communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree and minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Advanced degree in related field with at least 3 years of experience
• Experience with Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Estimating/Pricing, or Finance
• Active and transferable Secret DoD security clearance before start

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal
• Own contract management actions across the acquisition life cycle
• Develop and respond to RFPs/BAAs, negotiate terms, and manage NDAs
• Interface with customers for contractual changes and issues
• Be a team player supporting Raytheon mission and programs
• Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
• Mitigate risks by advising on rights/obligations and policy
• Work with DCMA/DCAA on government contracts
