Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law, business administration, or related field; PMP certification a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex construction contracts and risk analyses.
• Strong communication with legal advisors, external counsel, and counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and analyze construction contracts, equipment and material supply agreements, and subcontracts.
• Identify contractual and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying key exposures and providing risk-based recommendations.
• Act as a liaison with legal teams, consultants, and counterparties to ensure terms are understood and risks managed.
• Prepare briefing documents and presentations for senior management highlighting key findings.
• Provide direct support to VP of Contracts & Risk, contributing to strategic planning and departmental initiatives.
