Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex construction contracts, supply agreements, and subcontracts.
• Proven experience in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with legal advisors and counterparties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and provide analysis on construction contracts, equipment and material supply agreements, and subcontractor agreements.
• Identify contractual and operational risks and develop clear, structured risk analyses and mitigation strategies.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying key commercial and legal exposures and providing risk-based recommendations.
• Act as a liaison with legal teams, consultants, and counterparties to ensure contract terms are well understood and risks are appropriately managed.
• Prepare briefing documents, summaries, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key contractual and risk-related findings.
• Provide direct support to the Vice President of Contracts & Risk, contributing to strategic planning, decision-making, and departmental initiatives.
