Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Manassas, VA is seeking an experienced contracts professional to lead proposal development, negotiations and contract execution across international and U.S. government contracts.

You will partner with Legal, Program Management, Finance and other functions to safeguard program interests while driving growth. The role requires deep negotiation expertise, risk assessment and a proactive approach to compliance, with familiarity in instruments like

Qualifications

5+ years leading contract negotiations in bid environments.
Expert knowledge of contract closeout processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Teams.
Extensive knowledge of Direct Commercial Sale and International Contracts.
Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead complex proposal negotiations and lifecycle management.
Provide contractual guidance to cross-functional teams (e.g. Legal, PM, Finance).
Assess and mitigate contractual risks with contingency plans.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Program Management and other functions.
Ensure compliance with export controls and regulatory requirements.
Support audits and ensure favorable terms and execution.
