Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Contracts Principal to manage government contracts and proposals across the Army Navy Business Group. You will handle negotiation, risk analysis, and contract administration for CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, and T&M work, aligning with company policy and regulatory requirements. This 100% remote role can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with 15+ years of experience; Masters with 13+ years; PhD/JD with 10+ years.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Cost proposal development experience.
• Experience with CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, T&M and commercial contracts.
• Experience with OTAs, CSO, BPAs, etc.
• Thorough understanding of contract administration.
• Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TINA and CAS.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review contractual documents for policy and specification adherence.
• Advise program management on rights, obligations, and terms.
• Represent the organization as a prime contact on contracts.
• Coordinate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop solutions to complex problems with ingenuity.
• Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and risk controls.
• Support commercial work and complex delivery efforts (FFP, CPFF, CPAF, T&M).
• Prepare proposals; negotiate and administer multiple contract types; manage teaming and data submission; develop OCI plans.
• Mentor contract team members.
