Job summary

FCC Curtiss Wright Flow Control Corp in California seeks a Contracts Manager to lead drafting, negotiation, management and administration of company contracts, including proposals and complex bid support. You will work with sales, legal, insurance, and program teams to align commercial terms with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of contract management experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a law degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (law degree preferred).
• 7-10 years of contract management experience (preferably in supply of goods, construction, or IT services).
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and management of commercial contracts.
• Strong negotiation leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the drafting, negotiation, management and administration of company contracts including overseeing proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
• Facilitate effective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements, including preparation of contractual notices and variations to contract.
• Provide support to program manager and supply chain management team on more complex bids that may require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors.
• Provides regular reporting to senior management on contract issues.
• Interpret and apply contracts policies and ensure consistent execution.
