Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI seeks a Senior Manager, Contracts Management to lead drafting and negotiation of agreements with our largest plan sponsor clients. You will partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, and Corporate Legal to advance business goals while managing legal risk.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree, JD preferred, and 3–4 years of compliance or contracts experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree; JD strongly preferred.
• 3 to 4 years compliance/legal experience, preferably involving contracts negotiation and drafting.
• Ability to function as the primary representative in the resolution of complex negotiation issues with clients and their counsel (internal and external) with increasing levels of independence.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements with plan sponsor clients.
• Represent Fidelity in complex negotiation issues with clients and counsel.
• Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Finance, Product Management and Compliance.
• Protect Fidelity from legal/compliance risk; manage escalations.
